Krabi is the last chapter of the classic 10-day route. Do not spend the last morning on a boat you cannot miss for a flight.
2 nights: Ao Nang and Railay
Sleep in Ao Nang. Long-tail to Railay for an afternoon and sunset. Fly out of KBV the next day with a buffer.
3 nights: add the Four Islands
One full snorkel day, one Railay day, one arrival or departure buffer. This is the comfortable island ending after Chiang Mai.
With Phuket
Speedboat between the two. Give each island its own nights. A single day trip from Phuket to Railay is a sketch, not a visit.
