Arrival from Naples, one full boat or hike day, one terrace day. Fly or train out via Naples with a buffer.
With Pompeii
Overnight Naples or a long Naples day on arrival from Venice. Then the coast. Reverse if your Alitalia-style connection demands it — the flight wins.
On 14 days
Add a fourth cliff night or swap one Amalfi night for Cinque Terre earlier in the trip. Do not do both coasts in 48 hours.
